History

The oldest trading division in the history of Rollo UK Ltd is our current day Glasgow branch which started life as the corporate entity Hurry and Partners,  established in 1933 and was appointed a Dorman Diesels distributor in 1938.

Streatham Engineering, established in 1942 provided engineering services across the south east of England and beyond along with MAK Streatham, established in 1977, which had a marine engineering focus.

These companies were acquired by Turnbull Scott Holdings PLC to create T. S. Engineering Limited, and subsequent expansion saw the company become a five-site operation by the end of the 1990’s.

In the year 2000, MAN Rollo b.v. a Dutch engineering specialist company and part of the Pon Group, acquired T. S. Engineering Ltd and the company name was changed to TSE Rollo UK Limited.

Later, in 2002, the original link to Turnbull Scott was removed from the company name and it was then known, as it is today, as Rollo UK Ltd.
